Asian Super-speciality Hospital, Gulbarga, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Intensivist to join our Critical Care team. The Intensivist will play a critical role in providing comprehensive care to patients in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU), overseeing their clinical management, and ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care is provided.




Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage critically ill ICU patients with various medical and surgical conditions, providing advanced life support and mechanical ventilation.
  2. Respond to emergency situations (resuscitation, intubation, stabilization).
  3. Collaborate with specialists (cardiology, pulmonology, nephrology, surgery) for comprehensive patient management.

Duty Doctor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Duty Doctor to join our medical team. The Duty Doctor will be responsible for managing the medical needs of patients during their shifts, providing initial diagnosis and treatment, and ensuring smooth operation in emergency or general medical care. This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide high-quality patient care at all times.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide medical care to patients during shifts, including performing patient assessments, diagnosing conditions, and initiating treatment plans.
  2. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient health records, including diagnosis, medications, treatments, and progress notes.
  3. Be the first point of contact for emergency cases, handling critical situations until senior medical staff or specialists arrive.
  4. Perform basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) as required.
  5. Stabilize patients in emergency situations before referring them to specialists or the hospital’s intensive care unit (ICU) if necessary.
  6. Prescribe medications, order tests, and interpret diagnostic results.
  7. Collaborate with senior doctors and specialists for complex cases that require specialized care.
  8. Monitor patients under treatment and adjust medical plans as required.
  9. Work closely with nurses, paramedics, and other healthcare staff to ensure smooth patient care.
  10. Assist in patient referrals to specialists or other departments when necessary.
  11. Maintain up-to-date and accurate patient records as per hospital protocols.
  12. Ensure proper documentation of medical procedures, medications, and treatments.


Required Qualifications:
